it's not about the cops only arresting black people it's about the unequal treatment by these cops... these cops dont act rowdy in certain neighborhoods lets keep it real they only act this way because it's sanctioned by the city... knowig full and well they harass any asian or jewish person that's connected there will be a problem. they dont do checkpoints and stop cars for tints in their neighborhoods. they have copstat system and it shows you they target BLACK folks for the bullshyt.

I agree that either way, police disproportionately arrest and harass African Americans.

Except it’s not really that easy. The reason for qualified immunity is that you do not want cops second guessing or hesitating when they need to use force to stop someone from killing innocent people or other police officers. Imagine if you were a innocent person and someone had a gun to your head and a cop wanted to shoot the guy but hesitated a few seconds too late because he was scared to be prosecuted. That’s the argument for qualified immunity. It’s not so black and white

The anti police shyt only appeals to very progressive people. The majority of folks want stronger police presence and are very anti crime. The abolish police shyt one of the reasons why everyone is so anti woke now.
