Stuff like qualified immunity makes it easy for police to persecute INNOCENT people wth no repercussions. On the rare chance they get punished, the city pays instead of them, so where's the pressure to not be abusive pieces of shyt?
Democrats are against ending qualified immunity, for bringing back cash bail, against reparations. Why should Black folks vote for them?

it's not about the cops only arresting black people it's about the unequal treatment by these cops...
these cops dont act rowdy in certain neighborhoods lets keep it real they only act this way because it's sanctioned by the city... knowig full and well they harass any asian or jewish person that's connected there will be a problem. they dont do checkpoints and stop cars for tints in their neighborhoods. they have copstat system and it shows you they target BLACK folks for the bullshyt.

Theres always going to be SOME mechanism for cops to use “emergency powers” that will be reviewed after the fact. It’s an inherent loophole.
Theres already laws in place to rein in law enforcement.
