Shes a 26 year old running for Congress for a seat that was held by an 80 year old Jan Schakowsky for 25 years. Shes running a campaign strictly off small dollar donations and uses it all for campaign charity drives and paying her staff. She was recently indicted by the DOJ for protesting outside the Broadview Ice facility round these parts. Went to her first campaign event and have been following her ever sense.
She got gassed and tossed by ICE on camera.

Especially if Black men literally voted for Mamdani more than Black women like that data suggests. If he continues to only address Black women, it'll even contribute to a narrative/impression of Black men being less politically active in general which he literally helped disprove. Instead this could be a learning point that apparently Black men can respond to economic-focused political messaging even more than every other demographic.
Plus there's the flat out respect and appreciation aspect. He needs to flatten his speeches out to appreciate all Black support
