The virus hasn’t dissipated and the supply chain is critically fragile at the moment and will be so for a good while.
Nevermind the folks at the CDC, NIH and the White House are expecting a second wave come fall so it’s imperative to break out a carrot stick now to keep the foundation (essentials) of the economy moving. The situation is serious enough to where discussions have floated around with the military getting involved to KEEP things moving along.

Seeing that there’s “per child” kickers, I highly doubt this bill would allow some kid who’s dependent on their parent(s) to get this check just like they couldn’t get the last one.
