I agree with just about everyone in this thread. A truly awful showing on the biggest stage in the world. Smh. urgh.
From the jump it went bad.
The coin flip... Broadway Joe getting it picked off by the ref was an omen. If it landed in our favor, we defer... just like we have ALL season. The D gets a big stop and Manning comes out for the first series with a little confidence. But nope, we receive. What happens after that? fukking Trindon returns the kick off from the god damn back of the end zone and only gets to like the 12 or 13.
Then we all know what follows. Murphy's law truly existed that night. EVERYTHING went against us. I literally did not cheer for my team one time in that game. Do you know how pathetic that is? I couldnt yell, clap, cheer, be happy, excited... nothing. For the WHOLE game.

Was it me, or did Manning look completely shook and discombobulated from the get go?
I credit Seattle though. Thats a team with heart and a championship pedigree. I salute them.
A couple posts about changing the offense is spot on. We cannot get any better on O than we were this year. So... we have to devise an offense thats more balanced, no doubt. For those playoff pushes. Manning is going to get older/slower/weaker. Its just a natural fact. Next year we'll see what he and Gase come up with.
For as many injuries as we had on defense, it'll be interesting to see us back at full strength. Safety play HAS to get better. Either Irving or a draft pick or a FA will be starting as mike. Our secondary needs help. That'll probably be the direction we go in the first round. That or MLB.
Decker is a good 2 but he'll get paid like a 1. He's gone. I'd like to keep KnoMO. He and Ball play well together. But if he does walk, so be it. Champ has to restructure. There is no way Elway has him come back with as high as his salary is. I'd hope that Manning shows that he really wants to win one more and restructure his contract as well.
It'll be an interesting off season fellas. I salute my bronco brethren. It was a good season albeit a disappointing end. To '14!!
