I agree with just about everyone in this thread. A truly awful showing on the biggest stage in the world. Smh. urgh.

From the jump it went bad.

The coin flip... Broadway Joe getting it picked off by the ref was an omen. If it landed in our favor, we defer... just like we have ALL season. The D gets a big stop and Manning comes out for the first series with a little confidence. But nope, we receive. What happens after that? fukking Trindon returns the kick off from the god damn back of the end zone and only gets to like the 12 or 13.

Then we all know what follows. Murphy's law truly existed that night. EVERYTHING went against us. I literally did not cheer for my team one time in that game. Do you know how pathetic that is? I couldnt yell, clap, cheer, be happy, excited... nothing. For the WHOLE game. :snoop::to: Was it me, or did Manning look completely shook and discombobulated from the get go?
I credit Seattle though. Thats a team with heart and a championship pedigree. I salute them.

A couple posts about changing the offense is spot on. We cannot get any better on O than we were this year. So... we have to devise an offense thats more balanced, no doubt. For those playoff pushes. Manning is going to get older/slower/weaker. Its just a natural fact. Next year we'll see what he and Gase come up with.

For as many injuries as we had on defense, it'll be interesting to see us back at full strength. Safety play HAS to get better. Either Irving or a draft pick or a FA will be starting as mike. Our secondary needs help. That'll probably be the direction we go in the first round. That or MLB.

Decker is a good 2 but he'll get paid like a 1. He's gone. I'd like to keep KnoMO. He and Ball play well together. But if he does walk, so be it. Champ has to restructure. There is no way Elway has him come back with as high as his salary is. I'd hope that Manning shows that he really wants to win one more and restructure his contract as well.

It'll be an interesting off season fellas. I salute my bronco brethren. It was a good season albeit a disappointing end. To '14!!:salute:

The night before the game, true story , I had a nightmare we lost in embarrassing fashion. I told my dad and brothers all week it was a bad match up but I thought we could still win. We will get a chance for some revenge next season in Seattle. Season tix about to be due, hurts to have to bust open the wallet but I'll always be a bronco fan.

Peyton wasn't going to the NFC to compete with Eli

it seems a lot of people don't know this but it was well known around indy sports circles

So peyton would rather lose SB's in the AFC then possibly win them being on a better team in the NFC

If San Fran could have offered him the most money he would have went there.

That playing in the NFC was a contrived media storyline

Champ gone :to: Had to happen, it was time :manny: To one of the greats :salute:
shyt is ether to my soul breh, dude is my favorite player of all time......I hate it had to be him

But being honest this was best for the team, we have young promising safeties that he shouldnt start over, and 2 real good dbs who he shouldnt play over, we need this defense right asap tho, and to add balance to our offense

Basically. He'll retire a Bronco. But there is still a horrible taste in my mouth from the Superbowl and us letting him down. Smh. To a healthy end of his career... wherever that may be. 24!!:salute:
