I gotta say: I was NOT expecting that at all.
That diss is making me look at SGP in a more positive light. Not the craziest diss ever, but certainly the best I've heard in a minute.

SGP was one of the internet rappers back in 09/10 that was getting a lot of hype, and he worked closely with Rocky on his first mixtape, LiveLoveASAP. During this time, SGP also started a collective known as Raider Klan, which was made up of numerous artists he worked with, including Denzel Curry.
Eventually, SGP had a falling out with the entire ASAP Mob, and despite having worked with Wiz Khalifa and Juicy J, SGP slowly began to fade while Rocky blew up. The dissing between the two camps wasn't very serious, usually just lines here and there on songs from the Raiders or ASAP, but it intensified after Rocky continued to ascend while SGP did the opposite.
Seemingly blackballed by the industry, SGP struggled to find work as a producer, and only really found minor success when he signed with 4AD, although they only released a compilation album of his remastered tracks. Even though SGP had affiliates in cities like Houston, Memphis, NYC, and even Seattle, the Raider Klan began falling apart along with his career. They had a few tours, but the reality of it was that SGP mishandled his career and crew, because the widespread collective was too difficult to successfully coordinate.
Anyways, as his career fell off, he became more erratic with his behaviour, he burned bridges, and the Raider Klan couldn't even disband amicably. His lack of success certainly intensified Purrp's problems, but everything ive heard makes it seem like SGP is just a weird dude.
There's a lot that has happened over the last 5 or so years. For example, Purrp was arrested when he tried to confront Rocky when he was touring with Schoolboy Q in Miami. I remember reading that a loose Raider Klan affiliate got jumped out in NYC by ASAP Mob, and i dont even think he rapped... And now we got Denzel dissing SGP, which has its own history -- Denzel worked very closely with Purrp for years, and only recently started to turn against him. I think he's trying to distance himself from Purrp to put himself in a more favorable position within the industry, maybe even Rocky himself.
