I'm an actual fan of NY pizza so I won't even front on that end. With that being said there's some really good pizza spots out here. I got a few mom & pop spots that I enjoy. The two franchise spots that I loved since I was a kid are Round Table which are all over Cali and Me & Eds which are mainly in Fresno and the Central Valley.

California is tacos, soul food, fresh fruit. vegetables, and fish along with every cuisine known to man. LA on the low is a donut capital. Donut shops are like liquor stores and churches out here. Pastrami and French dip sandwiches is also a LA staple even though its not well known outside the city

California doesn’t have good pizza, because the water over there is trash. A good pizza depends on the crust. Pizza crust is olive oil, flour, yeast, and water. I heard the good spots over there import water from NY.
