I kinda notice that too. But i think its the only character they'll cast him as cuz hes so good at it. Its like the way people expect see him at this point.

What do you mean fam? Denzel has already played almost every character imaginable. He's been a cop, a slave, a schizophrenic, a sailor, a psychiatrist, a pilot, a bodyguard...n*gga i could go on for days. To be honest, Equalizer is one of the worst action movies I've ever seen, drama is lackluster and there isnt any true antagonist/protagonist balance (Denzel was in control the whole time).

Chill with that type cast. Denzel's resume is impressive for any actor period.
