Would you recommend I skip it? Been wanting to give it a look.

I watched it because I'm a Antoine Fuqua fan as well as a Denzel fan, I was let down cause my expectations may have been higher than it should. overall, I wasn't mad at myself for watching it.

it just isn't as good as Training Day or Brooklyn's Finest. I don't think you'd be disappointed if you saw it though.

What do you mean fam? Denzel has already played almost every character imaginable. He's been a cop, a slave, a schizophrenic, a sailor, a psychiatrist, a pilot, a bodyguard...n*gga i could go on for days. To be honest, Equalizer is one of the worst action movies I've ever seen, drama is lackluster and there isnt any true antagonist/protagonist balance (Denzel was in control the whole time).

Chill with that type cast. Denzel's resume is impressive for any actor period.

this. Denzel's cemented himself as a hollywood icon with a resume that shyts on a lot of other celebrities. If he wants to do badass movies for now, he's earned that. It's not like he has to retire anytime soon. There's time for him to do other types of roles.

I thought last king of scotland was a well done original movie, where forest whitaker, excelled himself,playing the role of a dictator. Whitaker is a really underrated actor, he did very well,playing the internal affairs cop in the shield as well.
