Use 1 regular season game to justify a premier pro athlete throwing away the prime of his career to be 1st round playoff fodder in a historically pathetic conference, brehs

I mean, I guess he won tonight... But if he resigned in Brooklyn to compete/win, there's no denying the fact that he took a massive L in that regard.

If it'll make you feel better, I can just up this after yall get bounced by the Spurs in the 1st round. :ld:

edit: Well if you make the playoffs, that is.

Unlike you Nets fans, I'm not delusional. I don't need anything to make me feel better. I'm fully aware that we're entering a dark age, with Dirk on his last legs and no superstar in sight.

You guys think Iso Joe and geriatric Pierce and KG will lead you to the promised land. And the ridiculous thing is, the Mavericks still have a better record than the Nets. Only reason you guys are even eligible for the playoffs is because you play in the Eastern Conference.

Nets would be the 10th best team in the West right now, sitting below 9th place Phoenix :dead:

Congrats on your regular season victory tho. I guess that's all Nets fans really have to celebrate. We only really care about championships in Dallas, but I guess every league needs its doormats :ld:

Exactly, so why is Deron a fool for not wanting to walk into THAT situation?

Nope. Stop making up arguing points

Rookie head coach, injuries, slow start. Been the best team in the conference for months now, catch up.

You guys got 1, lets not get ahead of yourselves here...

In all seriousness I have no beef with you all, but this thread was fukking dumb. The Mavs would still be fodder for the top Western teams even with D-Will. It's not like he was walking away from OKC to re sign in Brooklyn

Please don't lie about God. You don't know what God wanted for Deron. No blasphemy please. Everything counts.

Is it not fair to say that he would have had a better chance of winning had he gone to Dallas, a place where ownership has shown the ability to surround a premier talent with a solid supporting cast that can compete? The Mavericks won 50 games a season for over a decade...

The Nets traded away a 1st round pick that ended up becoming Damian Lillard, just so they could rent Gerald Wallace. And traded for Iso Joe's contract. And also Pierce and KG... The Nets are just a poorly run franchise breh, no way of sugarcoating it. Trust me, as a Cowboys fan, I know what it's like.

The Nets wouldn't even be fodder for the top Western teams. Because they wouldn't make the playoffs. Your entire talking point is basically bragging about competing in a watered-down conference where you get to inflate your Wins column by beating up on substandard teams. And you still have a shyttier record than 9 teams in the Western Conference. Catch up.

Like I said, congrats on your reg season victory. I hope for Nets fans' sake they make commemorative t-shirts or something.

And miss me with the injuries and slow start bullshyt... It's hard to take a person seriously when they start talking as if their team is the ONLY team to face injuries and coldstreaks :camby:
