He's still played more minutes than D-Wade this season.
Is it safe to say that D-Wade has been stealing money for the last couple years too? No wonder Lebron got tired of carrying his :flabbynsick: ass

So Thibs a guy who runs his players into the ground decided to give him a break to try to preserve him? Hmmm I don't know about that. Seems like too much of a change for Thibs
Rose was not playing hard. Instead of just benching him in game, he went to him and probably said, you don't look yourself, sit the rest of the game out. Rose was fine with it, so that's what we have here.

of course he's not playing hard...how much is he getting paid to look towards retirement , so he doesn't have a limp when he walks?

Thank God the Bulls faction of the Coli are probably the most respectable "team associated" posters on this site... :salute:

If they always antagonized like some other factions...this would be consistent ether...:whew:

Props to @Brozay
They've come a long way. They used to be unbearable on SOHH...

give him a klonopin prescription and tell him to sack up. nobody in the league is always playing at 100%..him saying "he didnt feel right" is absurd. get the fukk on the court...if the klonopin doesnt work they should try to ship him to phoenix for dragic in a sign and trade at the end of the year

If he sits out a few games and takes it slow throughout the season only to be 100% in the playoffs and avg 38 minutes, would that change your opinion about how you view the kid? Because thats what I think he is doing. The Bulls will make the playoffs regardless, they don't need him for that. They need him to be healthy and conditioned for the postseason push.
The problem with that is, Rose hasn't played a full postseason since April/May 2011 (he only played one game the following postseason). By the time the playoffs come around, that'll be FOUR years since he last played at that level. This isn't even a case of being pessimistic, because if this trend continues of him sitting out due to fatigue, muscle soreness, mentally unable to stay in games, whatever it may be; he won't be able to average minutes in the high 30s and play at 100% in the postseason. It's just not happening. He can't even give consistent effort for two 'meaningless' regular season games in a row now, how the hell is suppose to go up another level and play at playoff intensity for an ENTIRE postseason?

And he's stupid and so are the Bulls if they think getting him healthy (whatever the fukk that means) and conditioned (that requires actually playing games) for the playoffs going by this process is even remotely practical.

At this stage, we'll never see Rose back to where he was, and it pains me to say - I don't think that'll ever change.

Very true, but the season just started. His conditioning now will undoubtedly be better by season's end. If Tim Duncan can do it, it stands to reason that Rose is at least capable of it as well. It does not mean that he will, but I believe that to be the intent.
