The problem with that is, Rose hasn't played a full postseason since April/May 2011 (he only played one game the following postseason). By the time the playoffs come around, that'll be FOUR years since he last played at that level. This isn't even a case of being pessimistic, because if this trend continues of him sitting out due to fatigue, muscle soreness, unable mentality to staying games, whatever it may be; he won't be able to average minutes in the high 30s and play at 100% in the postseason. It's just not happening. He can't even give consistent effort for two 'meaningless' regular season games in a row now, how the hell is suppose to go up another level and play at playoff intensity for an ENTIRE postseason?
And he's stupid and so are the Bulls if they think getting him healthy (whatever the fukk that means) and conditioned (that requires actually playing games) for the playoffs going by this process is even remotely practical.
At this stage, we'll never see Rose back to where he was, and it pains me to say - I don't think that'll ever change.
