This is my take:

No question, mentally he is not confident, he is afraid to play balls to the wall, afraid that he will get hurt again.
But I truly believe when the playoffs come, he will play all out, and dominate, which in return will give him his confidence going into next year and him returning to the Derrick Rose pre injury, just my take.

so he's gettin paid to chill until the playoffs breh? :mjlol:

millions of dollars, just so he can get in the playoffs(off of his teammates hard work) without any type of rhythm and most likely get hurt again due to not being used to playing at that level of intesity the entire season?

damn near everyone is gonna be playing with some type of injury by the playoffs, rose just mentally weak as hell

If you mentioned chemistry like @threattonature then absolutely but you did not. Although, I'd argue to say that we're only a month into the season and even if he plays limited minutes in limited games, over the course of the season, they'd have some chemistry by the post season. Its possible that would be unrealistic of me to think that would be the case for sure, but I believe they would, its a long season. If the major issue is coming down to money, which it IS for most local Bulls fans instead of the fan experience, I say "If you arent a season ticket holder or shareholder of Bulls stock, what difference does it make to you about how much he has made?"

I have Harris Club season tickets, but I also didn't pay for them, my girl's Dad did. He has legitimate gripe regarding Rose not playing in these games because he was a huge reason as to why he has bought these tickets for 5 seasons in a row and is the reason why they are so much more expensive than if Rose never played for the Bulls. That makes total sense to me for someone to be upset about how much money Rose is making because it directly affects our pockets. If that isnt the case for you (not you specifically), then you can still be upset about Rose not playing for the team's sake and your enjoyment level, but not because of the money in his pocket that you have no bearing on. People concerned about the millions one guy earned and disregarding the billions these racists owners are making off of him and players like him who's value exceeds by multiples, what they earn.

10 games???? that nikka hasn't even played 3 games in a row this season :camby:
I don't think he's played 2 full games in a row this year. He got hurt in the CLE game, next time he played was against MIL, tweaked his ankle again, didn't play the next game....

Comes out and destroys DET, they then play Toronto the next game and he tweaks his hamstring. Doesn't finish the final minutes of the game... Comes back against UTAH, and then gets pulled the 2nd Half of the game last night against DEN.

Derrick Rose has not played 2 full games consecutively this season brehs

The D (where it's so cold)
Players getting paid so much that they don't care anymore....it's not about the ships...but the chips. Rose stacking that paper
This. You are seeing it with Steve Nash too, they clearly have guaranteed money coming in with other interests why go through the agony and pains of practice and rehab when you could enjoy life. More and more now you hear players speak about their business portfolio than their passion for the game, they are already talking about what their plans after retirement when they are in their primes.

He is that good that he can turn it on like a switch in the playoffs? Even dwade couldn't even do that throughout the playoffs last year and Rose could only dream to have a career like that.

Rose is much younger than Wade, yes I believe Rose can do this, dude is still more athletic than 98% of the league, has a better jumpshot and is in shape, just obviously not playing hard, I could see if we were talking about George Hill here, were talking about Derrick Rose, the former MVP of the league.

I may be wrong, but I think he def is that good to perform much better in the playoffs, he isn't even trying right now.

Only thing exploding will be his knee or Achilles.

Look homie I know where u coming from. I was a rose fan. We all were. His explosiveness, his character, his background, he was the total package :blessed:

But u are letting it blind your vision for what he is now. Rose hasn't played meaningful minutes in like 3 years. He can't play 30 minutes without getting hurt. Mentally he's looking like a hoe that's been beat too many times by her pimp.

Don't let your love for him blind you for what he is.

I actually prefer Westbrook over Rose always have, always will, but your right I am a Rose fan, and while you do have a point about him not playing meaningful minutes in 3 years, I still don't think it's over for him,he will at some point this year go on a tear, whether it's in the regular season or playoffs, but right now he does look extremely fragile in the head, only time will tell
