Very true, but the season just started. His conditioning now will undoubtedly be better by season's end. If Tim Duncan can do it, it stands to reason that Rose is at least capable of it as well. It does not mean that he will, but I believe that to be the intent.

What makes you say this? Has there been any evidence to suggest that his conditioning will improve? When was he last himself? 2012? 2011?

There's no correlation between Duncan and Rose. Duncan has played 58 playoff games in the last three seasons, whereas Rose has played ONE. Duncan has played 143 games over the past two regular seasons, Rose has played 10 games.

Then he sit out the season again...I don't think people realize how absurd this injury is...Westbrook had the same injury...had the surgery done WRONG, then had the surgery done again, then came back and didn't miss a beat in a shorter amount of time than Rose sit out...unreal...

Then he injured both his ankles...

Then he said he got to take care of his body...

Then he injured his hamstring...

Now he can't stay focused on games and now if he doesn't feel 100% he won't play...

Breh...for the Spurs...Patty Mills played a whole season with a torn rotator cuff and Manu was out their dunking on the entire heat team with a fracture in his leg...and this dude can't find the heart to suit up against insert random eastern conference team here on a fukking Tuesday because he is not 100%

Unbelievable...straight up if this dude was white we would be talking about CAC privilege at this point...the story would straight up be "white player signs max contract but refuses to play unless 100%"...
