Rondo is a good defender, i'm not saying he's the "glove" or anything...half the time it's the commitment to play defense that separates a lot of these guys. Rondo is probably a top 5 PG defensively, not even looking at the steals and rebound or whatever. Just him playing solid defense. It's the Shane Battier example I brought up, he gets torched every now again but he plays tough solid defense and is acknowledged for it.
