North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
The problem with Rose saying this now is the perception of him has changed since 2010. He was known as a warrior then so this "buck the system" image was cool. Now the whole league probably looks at him as mentally frail, and a player that wont even attempt to play through any type of injury. So this whole I wont recruit anybody just comes off as :childplease: + :camby:

And Melo is the one that was in a more fukked up situation. He opted out not Rose. He not trying to leave and remains loyal. Melo forced his way out of Denver and he opted out and may leave New York. Melo should be the one selling himself not Rose. That's the shyt that irks me about all of this. Melo the won indirectly making a spectacle out of all of this. Does he really have to go meet with that many teams? Does he really needs to be recruited. If he doesn't know whats the best fit for him at this point then he never will.

If your GM is doing his damn job, you wouldn't need to have an impact :mjpls:

Rose is an MVP in his prime years. He's only 25 He shouldn't have to recruit nikkas. Melo just turned 30. If he plays in Chicago he will have a point guard that will give more quality years and more opportunities for titles. I mean this is a no brainer. It's really Melo's decision. If he's just looking for a quick title fix opportunity then he can go to Dallas or even Houston but Chicago has the better coach and two players in their primes.

Rose is finished. Knees are a problem that once its there it never goes away. And for a player who relies heavily on his athleticism, hes Wade status for the rest of his days.

Rose is finished.

:mjpls: So they'd rather play in the shadows in LA or Boston? New York hasn't won shyt in decades yet no player wanted to go there. Not even Joe Johnson.

I don't think Chicago is the problem. Most of their talent has been homegrown. They also now have a young superstar in Rose and a defensive anchor in his prime in Noah. They also have a legit head coach. Melo would be dumb not to go there. And any player that shy's away from trying to bring titles back to Chicago because of Jordan's legacy is too p*ssy and won't win many chips anyway.

:russ: His superstar pass has been rejected for Insufficient Funds.

They would be if he would've "fought through" those injuries like everyone was saying he should've done. Or if he would've come back early like Adidas and everyone else expected him to.

And lets be clear. I highly doubt Melo is dumb enough to leave the Eastern Conference. Too many teams you gotta go through just to get to the finals. Lebron/Wade/Bosh I say they stay together in Miami. They've been to 4 finals in a row. Why would they slip that up now? They just need better depth.

So that leaves Chicago and New York basically. I mean he went there first because he knows that's his first choice. All of those other teams are just leverage/fluff. He will either return to New York or go to Chicago. The ONLY thing Rose needs to do is show that he's 100% healthy and he doesn't need to be in a meeting for that. The Knicks are trying to put together what Chicago already has. So it basically boils down to Melo wanting to bring a title to New York before he becomes :flabbynsick: or going to Chicago that's built to win now. New York has potential but it also has too many unknown variables.

Rose is a PG and was drafted there......we're talking about FA's willingly coming there. 2 different things.

Yes, the Bulls could DRAFT a superstar, but imo that's also gonna be the ONLY way the get a superstar on their team.

No FA is gonna go to Chicago, because Jordan's "legacy" is still largely hanging over the franchise.

I don't think anyone is scared of his legacy the Bulls front office doesn't seem to give a damn to be honest....they have had multiple chances "rumored" to land stars.

He said the Bulls sells themselves......obviously they dont:patrice:

Michael Jordan is the GOAT player ever, brought 6 rings to Chicago, and they have never even been to a NBA Finals game without him on the roster. LA has been in the NBA Finals at least 1x in every decade, excluding the 90s. There's a difference.

Lakers = a franchise known for many HOFers and many Championships....Bulls = a franchise known for Michael Jordan and his legacy:mjpls:

nikkas aint going to Chicago breh, the proof is in the pudding. Nobody WANTS to be compared to Jordan on their OWN team....damn sure aint trying to live up to the legacy Jordan left behind in Chicago.

Again, if a team like the Bulls has Carlos Boozer as the biggest FA they've ever signed since 1984, they obviously do not sell themselves
This.....Lebron would have gone to Chicago in 2010 if it wasnt jordan's old stomping grounds. With that roster, he would have four rings by now. Thank God he came to the heat tho :whew: :lolbron:

Rose has barely played in two years and is still talking like he doesn't trust his knees, but Melo is the one who needs to sell himself? :playoffs?:
