He legit deserves one

DJax is suspect, what has he done to show he can coach at a D1 level? When has DJax ever been a leader of men?

No Ed Reed doesn't. That nikka acted a fool and embarrassed his employer over some shyt that could've easily been handled internally.

Del State trippin. They don't even have an AD in place and I'd be surprised if this experiment lasts longer than 2 years

There is only one Prime. Prime brought a FBS QB to JSU AND the nation's #1 player. It also doesn't hurt they had a great AD, a top tier HBCU football brand and the coaching staff to support a HC with limited experience.

I don’t want to judge a book by it’s cover but…..It feels like nukkas saw Deion’s success and are just saying fukk it, let me try lol

It’s mind boggling to me that nikkas don’t have their own passions, their own ideas or own personalities. They just do shyt because someone else was successful at it. Ed reed was at Bethune cookman looking like a straight dikkhead and got fired before he started lol

Nothing about D Jax ever, at any point, indicated "head coach".

People are pointing to Deion and understandably so, but Eddie George's success opened a lot of eyes, given he also didn't have any coaching experience.
Yup!

Eddie is a great example

Especially for HBCU's

And I agree about D.Jax: Unfortunately he might be the early start to this wave of NFL brothas getting jobs jumping the shark.

Ehh I disagree with this.

A lot of former players actually want to coach, but don’t want to start at the complete bottom.

Prime gave these guys a blueprint that they can start off as head coaches at hbcu/fcs level instead of working their way up as position coaches.
