There is only one Prime. Prime brought a FBS QB to JSU AND the nation's #1 player. It also doesn't hurt they had a great AD, a top tier HBCU football brand and the coaching staff to support a HC with limited experience.

Yeah, this is why this is such a low-risk proposition. They're terrible historically ANYWAY, so why not try a new coaching approach? Hell, they might as well try to hire Tony D'Amato or Ted Lasso at this point....

I think we would need to look at who they have been hiring and the infrastructure they have to support the program.

If they have been losing that’s on the administration and infrastructure, so if that doesn’t change it proves this is just another move with a flashier option.
