Weak! There is an advantage for winning your division, and it should remain that way.
.

Under the proposal, the division winner with the conference's best record would still receive the No. 1 overall seed. But after that, teams would be stacked by records, regardless of whether they won their divisions or received wild-card berths.
That approach could have a significant effect on the Lions and the highly competitive NFC North, which fielded three playoff teams last season -- the Lions (15-2), Minnesota Vikings (14-3) and Green Bay Packers (11-6). The Lions received the NFC's No. 1 seed, but the Vikings were seeded No. 5, and the Packers were No. 7. Based purely on records, the Vikings would have been the No. 3 seed, and the Packers would have been No. 5.
I get what they're saying but, we're not changing anything breh![]()
NBA changed this stupid ass rule years ago and it was for the better...imagine arguing that inferior teams should get a competitive advantage over superior teams because they won a division... without any context on which divion was more difficultDivision titles should guarantee anything more than a playoff birth…and that's already being generous

You're “devaluing” the entire regular season by rewarding inferior teamsNBA teams play 16 out of 82 games against division opponents
NFL teams play 6 out of 17 games against division opponents (and it used to be 6 out of 16)
NFL teams spend a lot more time preparing and playing other teams in the division and often even make roster decisions based on other divisional opponents.
A few rivalries left in the NFL are because of intradivisional games
You remove the division title giving something in the offs and a lot of times teams wont give a fukk about seeding aside from #1 seed that gets a bye.
This means you devalue the importance of divisional games by a lot. And again, a fukkton of NFL games are intradivisional games.
The NBA has no where NEAR the same divisional rivalries that the NFL, so it’s a dumb comparison as well.
What the fukk does “division rivalries” have to do with the reality that you are factually decreasing the value of your regular season by rewarding inferior teams and often times inferior divions .…what a stupid ass justificationThe NBA has no where NEAR the same divisional rivalries that the NFL, so it’s a dumb comparison as well.
Should they hand a participation trophy out for divisional titles as wellAnd now no one gives a fukk about winning the division in LGBT Ball

just rewarding inferiority in general in a copetivitve sport is nonsensical on its face... you CTE ball nikkas really be out to lunch as if you have some of that brain trauma too![]()
Winning your division does not bring more value to the season 65% of your schedule is played outside of your division in the first place this shyt makes literally no sense...It’s doing the opposite of devaluing the regular season. It makes it mean more to wi be your division.
I take it as a badge of honor to have idiots like you not align with my posting.…cant be too close to a dummy that slow shyt might rub offYou have easily become one of the WOAT posters here over the past year.
