I mean they are right. Division winner thing is ancient. NBA ditched that years ago. As some teams get lucky to play for shytty divisions.

Back in 2006 Nuggets finished 3rd in west with 44 wins while Mavs were 4th seed with 60 wins :dead: see how bad it was? Nuggets should have been 7th seed that year.

Why not eliminate confernces then and just let the top x amount of teams with the best records in the playoffs? Why stop at divisions?

How has this shyt gone for Lions lately, I feel like they propose changes to rules that affected them negatively after every season :mjlol:

“We lost because we got too many penalties from our cbs holding dudes”

“Hey let’s propose to removes automatic first downs for holding calls”

I'm a Lions fan but fukk this. We don't need more NBA-ization of the league. Winning your division should matter. The NFL still has rivalries in large part because every year there are four teams in multiple divisions going ham at each other. If you have a great record but lost your division guess what? Too bad. Hell you should be happy to go on the road and pop a 9-8 NFC South team. This feels like short term greed from orgs who just want the home playoff game for $$$.

If the Vikings didn't want to be a wildcard on the road last season they should have won the division/beaten us. They didn't. I would have been disgusted if they got rewarded with a home playoff game despite getting annihilated in the last game of the season.
