Yes. All of the Great Lakes area gonna deal with this eventually. Its flat and has no natural drainage. Because everything in the region drains INTO the lakes. So with the water levels fluctuating so much we'll get flooding. Also, sewage infrastructure hasn't been addressed in the entire country in decades. Not in a meaningful way.

But its been flooding in northwest Germany, Belgium and Holland as well. Its a "low-country" issue right now. Big lakes/rivers will cause flooding and warm oceans will cause more hurricanes/typhoons.

We've fukked the planet irreversibly.

Its hella toxic. Most of it is rainwater, but then add in sewage, road debris and other shyt yeah. A drop of that shyt in the system gon have you looking like the Elephant Man.

What part Germany? My aunt live there

It wasn't a big city like Dortmund or anything like that. But still anywhere flat & on a floodplain is gonna experience major issues in the next few years.

What part Germany? My aunt live there

The flooding was in the western part of the country in the Rhineland state. I'm not too familiar with German geography so I don't know what major cities are in that state. Hope your aunt is ok tho.
