The point is about neglect, stuff like this is only happening because people are failing to do their jobs

Detroit sewer pipe burst, that's why the city is flooding not because of rain, its because of decades of neglect
we just went through this a month ago and they was specifically blaming it on pump stations ... nevermind im too blowed 4 this shyt

I was talking to my pop yesterday and he said he saw 2 manhole covers shoot up in the air and water start coming out. He said he turned his ass right back around and went home.

Funny enough I'm in Germany and they just had the worst flooding in over 100 years. I think more 60 people have died so far.

Think about how fukking big them fukking tunnels is :mindblown: aint ita whole parking

garage down there too:martin:

That's what's wild. I caught a Wings game at the Joe before they moved to LCA, and walked around it and Cobo after the game, and walked through those tunnels. The though of them being completely submerged is creepy :merchant:

We’ve gotten a lot of rain here in Ohio too

Is this a result of global warming? :francis:

Yes. All of the Great Lakes area gonna deal with this eventually. Its flat and has no natural drainage. Because everything in the region drains INTO the lakes. So with the water levels fluctuating so much we'll get flooding. Also, sewage infrastructure hasn't been addressed in the entire country in decades. Not in a meaningful way.

But its been flooding in northwest Germany, Belgium and Holland as well. Its a "low-country" issue right now. Big lakes/rivers will cause flooding and warm oceans will cause more hurricanes/typhoons.

We've fukked the planet irreversibly.
