False. Swing Mob/Da Basement started around 91/92 but Timbo, Missy and the others joined a year or so later. Definitely after Jodeci were already established.

Timbo is in my top 5 but DeVante was way more musically intelligent/advanced compared to Timbo. He auditioned for Prince’s band and almost made it when he was young. These church musicians are the most talented.
