Beg for Mercy, for me, Buck made that album :win:

Fight Music is dope concept song, as I never seen rappers tackle that subject matter before, usually those Rock Bands make songs like that, but to hear rappers do it was :ohlawd:

Beg for Mercy was a classic to me, I don't that album has one bad song, underrated album.

Beg For Mercy is up there right behind GRODT, and possibly tied with Hunger for More for best G-Unit...scratch that, best 03-04 mainstream album. Devils Night is cool, a lot more lyricism and concept, but as far as the climate of 03-04 goes...

50 & the Unit had the media/fan focus that MMG got right now, but damn near EVERYBODY was on they side...they production was ill, and they just kept hittin u over the head wit hard track after hard track. "Gangsta shyt", "Lay Your Ass Down", "Footprints", "Poppin' Them Things", "I Smell p*ssy", "My Buddy"...I mean come on, the Unit RAN 2003 & 2004. Before they got corny and the whiteboys picked it up, couldn't nobody tell them nikkas NUFFEN.

And just like GRODT (commercial or not,) for that time period...it was one of them albums you could put on and just let it rock straight out the gate. No skippin shyt. The Unit had perfect chemistry. 50, the leader/boss/hook maker/solid rhymes...Banks, the punchline king, Yayo for the grimy nikkas who aint give a fukk about lyrics and actually had street cred, and Buck for the down south cats and the broads...

No contest.

Em had some crazy verses on Devils Night, and no one on BFM got close to the level Em was on Devils Night, but collectively Beg For Mercy was just better.

I'm so hood should have been on GRODT, I mean it was solo 50 and one of the best tracks of his life.

Em's verses on songs like Fight Music, Devils Night, Revelations and entire Girls song were piff.
