They find his real dad in the first season, like the 9th or 10th episode or something. Joe Driscoll I think his name was, and Dex, Deb, Rita and Brian cleaned out his house when he died. Dexter and "Rudy" dumped his ashes at the bowling alley.

Regarding his dad, they said in the original show that he didn't exist on records before the age of 30, like he was some kind of informant/witness.

This show is fire. And i was someone who thought a dexter origin show would be ass.
But all of this has to lead into Dexter resurrection with present day Batisita finally giving Dexter the electric chair lol. Miami metro hiring Dexter was the worst decision they ever made

I think they did a great job with the casting for young Dex and young LaGuerta. I might have to go back and check but Milian is doing a great job immitating Velez's voice. I see he's not in for this season but if the show goes on I hope they find the right breh for Doakes.
And I agree that Batista has to be the one to close the deal on Dex. Even if he's successful it's not enough to redeem Miami Metro from all dem Ls

Yea the casting on this show is great honestly. Only one i'm not sold on is Deb.
I def think this is a one season show though cause they already announced dexter resurrection is next year. This show is basically his "life flashing before his eyes" until he wakes back up in present day at the hospital. But i would love to see a younger doxaes lmao.
