I'm rewatching the series and he has shown flashes. Especially during the Trinity case.

The whole tie and funeral scene had me tearing up between remembering the reference from the original and recently losing someone.

This shyt really is fukking fire they've done an incredible job.

I'm not sold on Blessing being a killer. The show has historically had characters to serve as a mirror to whatever Dexter is going through. He seems to be more in that realm. Between this new and improved version of the "Just Take It" killer crew and Batista on his ass, I can't imagine they'd have him shacked up with a killer too.
