Dexter Morgan got toned down dramatically after the pilot episode. In the first episode he was actually torturing people. Once season 1 got going he just killed people quickly with a stab to the heart. I'm sure the showrunners (correctly) figured that audiences weren't going to follow a true evil character for multiple seasons.

I would with the right story telling. They were trying to show the Audience Dexter's psychosis is manageable and his Dr. Vogel's idea was as perfect as can be for his situation and condition.

I just want to see what happens when Dexter loses his anchor with humanity.

Remember in all 7 seasons he was always learning how to blend in, be more human like which he felt like he didn't know how to be due to him being a complete psychopath. We need to see the mask off Dexter.

first off, I'm mad as hell dexter original sin was cancelled after one season. that's some BULLshyt.

It was a pretty dumb idea to run it at the same time as resurrection. It wouldn't make sense to run a Batman year one series around the same time as old man Batman.

That said, I loved that show more than I thought I would. Maybe they bring it back in a year or 2 after the merger is finalized and all the pieces stop moving.

Very good, old Dexter, season but idk man...I was expecting more from the Season Finale. Felt kinda underwhelming. I enjoyed it but something wasn't enough. Idk what but it wasn't there.
