Imo he's better off in smaller leagues/venuesI'm loving this version of Qleen. He just needs to get back on Smack
Never understood TBZ's stanning of Qleen. He's not that good. He's got QP ghostwriting a few punches, whoopty doo.
Ty Law's performance here is absolutely terrible. He needs less over the head shyt and more direct shyt. Even some filler/real talk could work. You can't have every bar be a 2-in-1 that may not hit even if the people get it. Ty has the pen game down but he needs everything else. He hasn't evolved in the last three years I'm beginning to lose hope for dude.
I see that Ty Law is trying to work on his performance, that's a positive. But if we are being real, the fastest way for him to get better is to go fukk with QP's.
If Ty had any idea how the crowd would respond to each line, then he'd be able to perform much better. He not sure when the crowd is going to laugh, which punchlines are going to land hard, which punchlines he needs to sell a little while he's waiting for reaction, how to work the camera while the crowd is going off, etc. He'd also need to know which lines should just be discarded completely.
Between the two QP's, they understand all of that. And they seemed like they were rocking with him, so why not?
I was just watching this battle thinking ty should join rg3
Yup. Some of those iffy punchlines he had can be sold with a little ad-libbing, he just needs to be aware of what to say in that dead space. Ty is Nuborn-ish where he's like "Oh, you didn't like that one?" "Y'all sleeping".
QP Sons says weird shyt all the time, but he has so much experience selling his punches that he never has those dead spots. Then you take a guy like Gwitty that drops those left field haymakers like Ty does, but knows how to perform his shyt to keep the crowd engaged. If Gwitty had Ty's pen, he'd be really difficult to beat. The R3 guys all do such a great job of embracing their awkwardness, Ty Law needs to get in where he fits in.
Yall need to cut this shyt outQleen ain't write none of this shyt and idc.
Idk why ya'll think Qleen didn't write this.
If you understand the difference between QP Sons and Qleens bar structure you can tell this follows Qleens normal writing pattern.
He did the same thing he always does pattern wise.
He does this similar compound rhyming thing that say an Elzhi does.
Where there's rhyme A, rhyme A, rhyme B rhyme B , rhyme A. Where he compounds rhyme patterns in between his main rhyme scheme, and he did exactly that here.
QP Sons doesn't so much do that as look for homonyms and double entendres, not saying Qleen doesn't do this sometimes too, but their styles are different enough to tell apart.
I don't think Qleen spit anything this battle that was above and beyond what he's been capable of before, Qleen has always been nice.
No, it wouldn't be a shock. Not saying it would.I absolutely hate this argument. Rapper A did not write for Rapper B, because Rapper A has different _______.
The problem was this argument is damn near any rapper can be imitated. Then you have quantum physics, a rap nerd on his team. I'm pretty sure Quantum Physics has the capability to mimic anyone's style. Would that even be a shock?

seems like a weird thing to do ESPECIALLY with Qleen since the main flaw about him is he wasn't taking battle rap serious for a long time, maybe he just got serious and it's showing.
