According to David Morrison of theColumbia Tribune, Dorial Green-Beckhamwill not be arrested or face charges in connection to the Columbia Police Department’s investigation into an alleged burglary. According to reports, the first-degree burglary of an apartment was reported very early this past Sunday morning; while Green-Beckham’s name came up in connection to the incident, it was unclear if he was connected as a suspect, victim or witness.

Actually he didn't f**k up.... Although I don't agree with OU taking him in, Jay Norvell is arguably the best WR in college football and DGB coming to OU over USC is somewhat proof of that. His NFL track record isn't as impressive because he hasn't consistently landed top-tier talent but what he does with WR's with size, speed and hands is nothing short of NFL caliber development. When Kevin Sumlin(great recruiter) was on our staff, we had NFLfirst round draftees(for whatever reason didn't pan out, but that wasn't OU's fault).

I respect USC's WR history, but DGB made a pretty sound decision.... Plus, he would stay in trouble in southern Cal and y'all don't need those problems either just getting off probation.

Everyone deserves a second chance but I'm not to happy about this. His utter disregard for regulation & authority was shown at MIZZOU. Yeah, Stoops MAY be able to provide an environment that will corral a little bit of his behavior but the common denominator is HIM. I 100% believe in his talent and he is the truth but OU really doesn't need him. So Stoops is really gonna bring in a "problem child" that will certainly upset a pretty stacked and talented, although untested WR core and is one headline away from bring OU a major distraction(because that's all he really does) in a season where the program has a legitimate chance to win a title.

Well, given that we lost out on what could've been w/ Metoyer, we have little to no WR experience righ tnow, I have no problem w/ it from THAT aspect.

Also, if what they said was true a few months ago that he was CRUSHED by getting cut, then maybe he's learned a lesson. I'm pretty sure Stoops made it CLEAR that he has no issue cutting him at the slightest screw-up. ie Jaz Reynold, Damien Williams, etc. DGB will be on a shorter lease than those guys.

Far as on the field, my only concern is that it doesnt turn us into a pass reliant team again.

The nygga was arguing with his white girlfriend and was trying to get into her apartment to see her. Her roomate was doing the typical homegirl thing and putting her self in the middle of it and got pushed out the way.

of course in that country ass Missouri town a 6'6 black man pushing a white girl is gonna end up being reported as Burglary/assault but it really wasn't.

Well, he still has to get a waiver to play this season which could be very likely and very unlikely all at the same damn time. The last OU player that won an NCAA appeal was Dusty Dvoracek.... who ended up being a bi contributor for our DL and made the lives of every opposing OL difficult. You see we haven't won an appeal since and I don't expect DGB to win this one...

If DGB, plays THIS year....


If he doesn't, he may never play a down.. He'll sit for this year then declare.

pretty big pick up for OU. if he develops to the level of potential he'll easily be a first round pick. If not well he's still 6'6" 220 or so, and no way he doesn't get drafted or make an nfl roster.
