I remember my homie bought one of their albums after The Source gave them nikkas 4 1/2 mics. :russ: Needless to say, the album was below average.

Homie was hot, so was many other hip hop fans around the country. That's why when MadeMen did their next album, The Source gave them a review, but didn’t give it a mic count due to "conflict of interest".
i never forgave benzino for this ..............this was the downfall of the source and also hip hop on a whole..................
dont get me wrong hip hop isnt dead its just very lopsided right now

I liked almighty rso and the untouchables but never peeped a made men project. Matter of fact I've looked for the hangmen 3 no skits album multiple times and its seriously the only release I've never been able to find on the internet.

I can up hangmen 3 no skits. There's some good beats, some really wack sh1t too. Mr. gzus was actually nice.

Made Men/Hangmen 3 were wack rappers/good producers, all their albums reflect that.

The Source promoted that Made Men album like it was the first Beatles album in 30 years or some shyt! If you weren't familiar with Hangmen or RSO the casual listener didn't know who the fukk them nikkas were. Them magazine ads and promos were otherworldly
-"Classic Limited Edition"
-"...the long awaited return"
-quoted reviews from The Source (I laughed)
-calling them nikkas legends

I didn't mind those spreads. It was Benzinos magazine, if he wants to add a couple of pages then fukk it. fukking with the mics was blasphemy.

The best songs from them were already posted, featuring LOX, Mobb Deep, and MOP.

Stillmatic intro production by Hangmen 3:obama:

Boottee was a bet uncut classic..

Also I use to fukk with Bang ta dis heavy.. mostly for the production.

That said, never copped a made men/rso/benzino release ever
