To be honest, the movie wasn't fully intellectually honest on both sides of the coin.

It gave off a perception that the American black is too angry
But it also gave off a perception that the continental African was able to remain in peace and develop his nation. Both of which is not true.

The American black is too laid back and don't take a lot of things too serious. The continental African endured all the things we endured here in america, slavery, exploitation, land stolen and carved up Berlin conference, resources taken, rape, apartheid, even some things black Africans in America haven't endured like outright genocide on whole tribes.

At this point though , people are purposely over analyzing for click bait, and one thing that has to be mentioned here, if they did make a movie that made the black American look bad, remember Africans from the continent didn't make the movie, producers and directors from America did. So going after continental Africans for a message that was produced by people from America is really dumb when you put it all together.

I can't believe nikkas left the theater like "Helped a crazy white man blow up a bunch of Africans and steal their resources, shot his girl, choked an old black woman, slit a woman's throat and tried to kill a little girl, tried to send a bunch of weapons out into the world that could easily be corrupted? THAT WAS MY HERO! THE REAL KING"

Killmonger was charismatic and said alot of good and true things but he was out of his mind and using a real plight as a justification for his revenge plot. He was beyond just trying to liberate black people.

That’s what so many fake deep/woke are missing did Killmonger want black liberation? Without doubt

But even more so he wanted revenge against the nation that killed his father and exiled him

That’s why he had no problem killing other blacks if it meant him getting closer to his bloodlusted revenge

All in all I was still rooting for Killmonger he had a right to be mad nikka was just to far off the deep end but that was all due to conditioning

Yes. Biggest black movie ever and I was disappointed. And to end it all, children in Oakland first thought at seeing a wakandan ship, "how can we steal and strip it for parts". Really?!?

I chuckled.... :pachaha:

I mean you know the govt would pay you a fortune for fukking spaceship parts... :mjlol:

It was a joke...:heh:

Yeah. I try to forget that scene. :snoop:
I don't see the issue with that scene. These were poor kids from the projects, if a ship landed in their neighborhood you dam right they would try and take it apart and sell it. Maybe it's too raw, but let's not act like it ain't true

The message in that scene was still great though, in the fact he realized he needed to reach out to his people across the ocean and bought property to help those in need. That imo was a great message.

Not the damned metal...:mjlol:
You know damn well he wasn’t talking about food and water :comeon: yea the world will be so happy to learn how wakandans get water in Africa...wakanda’s sole advantage is vibration...
