C.I.T.I
As King he was well within his right to change the laws of the land, the old black woman backtalked him so he made her get in line.
Burn all of the herb that gives people super powers because "there wont be another king after me". Wow much great hero. Really fighting for the cause. And idk if you're trolling with that last part. Just smh if you feel that way
Its funny because Killmonger won the fight fair and square, and even after he won he still listened to the advisers of the land and allowed them to have their say. He did not attack the Dora Milaje until they attacked him first, so it would have been all ok for the Dora Milaje to kill him but because he killed one of em.
He THOUGHT he won fair and square but he did not. The challenge was still on and he declined that challenge because he wanted war. So the dora challenged him. He took glee in slicing her throat.

Tried to kill a little girl? So he should have just taken shuri blasts and not do anything? :camby:
Again. he bypassed another trained grown up just to go after shuri because she was close to t'chala. That was a lustful hatred and vengeance move. He could have easily threw her away like the rest or knock her out.
He was putting the weapons into the hands of wakandan spies who would have used ti to strike the heart of white supremacy
:mjlol: What an amazing plan. What could go wrong with that in this universe of superheroes and villains. I mean maybe they could have used some of that herb. Too bad he burned it all
He just wanted chaos.

They even mention in the movie that that was resistance to his plan, but "they'll fall in line". Yeah there wont be any other spy who goes against the king again(irony), works with a villain, works with another country, just wants to sell the weapons, etc...

except the movie didn't paint black liberation as villainous. it showed how a power hungry villain, killmonger, prepared his whole life to settle a personal score and reshape the world as he saw fit. this dumbass tweet wants us to believe killmonger was the film version of frederick douglas or marcus garvey. :mjlol:

it also completely ignores that there were wakandan operatives, like nakia - lupita's character, fighting for real liberation and trying to convince/coerce wakandan leadership out of their non-interventionist world stance.

it's a movie with a shytload of black excellence. but always some annoying people on social media trying to get a rep or steal shine by being a contrarian or pushing something negative. :aicmon:
But why “fight” for liberation when using vibranium weapons would pretty much guarantee the results? Not to mention them c00n ass nikkas sat back and watched slavery and did nothing...now to not upset white zaddy, they won’t use their weapons...black panther rather kill a fellow black man to protect “colonizers” :hhh: only c00ns will agree with him...

:mindblown: Why does everyone keep saying that same shyt like Killmonger's plans was destroyed by the wakandans in black on black crime with the white man stopping the liberation of the black people?!? :dahell:

Dude was willing to start WW3 with those weapons with sleeper cells of black wakandan operatives... :dahell: It wouldn't have been a good look to do that shyt...

You only make yourself look like your oppressors doing that shyt. T'challa was telling him your too angry, your anger is driving you to madness... And even though I releate there's a line that we can't cross...

Don't get me wrong I love Killmonger for his burn it all type shyt, I think we all have those MAGNETO-like thoughts in our heads if we was in that position... But then most of us would be good and realize maybe we can change the world in other ways... WW3 would gain us nothing...

The story whether or not to be a hero or a anti-hero villain was incredible the dichotomy was excellent. People not seeing the bigger picture.
That professor X type of passiveness ain't saving blacks :mjlol:

you know what happened towards the middle/end of Jim Crow? Flourishing black cities/neighborhoods were destroyed because freed slaves had more skills than a lot of whites. They purposely stripped so much from us that it led to what is known as the Civil Rights. All I'll say is it's a shame blacks don't learn about the moves that were made during Jim Crow....made cacs so irate they had to destroy our shyt.

I mean at that point, they aren't being "contrarian" they're literally completely overlooking
several important characters within the film and the actions that characterize them
to create a polarizing (untrue) narrative to go with their arguments.

Bringing up Nakia was a good point.

But killmonger is African:gucci:
Killmonger is African (American)

That's one of the many points in the film, it's the dichotomy of African American against African.

This is expressed with music choice, costume, art direction etc.

I mean for fukks sake the dude grows up in OAKLAND

There's a lot of layers to the film that make it much deeper than just an
action flick.
