Nah as much as nikka don't want to examine it because they love Chapelle, hell I love Chappelle.

He did talk about the black community and black problems in a way that made white people feel too comfortable. Like "I know black people and can tell them about themselves because I watch Dave Chappelle"

Chris Rock was the same way, but I honestly feel like he did it intentionally to win favor with whites and further his career rather than Dave who didn't understand the context of his comedy, until the notorious "black fairy" skit incident or whatever.

But keep in mind back then everything wasn't as politically conscious as it is now, like I'm watching "Friday After Next" right now and they have a joke regarding the police committing police brutality for Craig and Dada, with Dada even asking them to "stick a plunger up his ass like they did in New York". That joke wouldnt fly in this day and age

Chappelle didn't do anything to make "Black people" look bad

Any black person who gets it knows he was making wink and nod inside jokes on white people the entire time

He did some skits I didn't like even though I knew he was trying to make a deeper point I guess, for example the "****** family" skit.

Classic example, he was showing black people get delight from white people finally being "the nikkas" lol

No... I would have told those old ass black people like Michael Eric Dyson, Sharpton, Oprah, and these other to kiss my ass on some tupac shyt....

That show was not only hilarious but factual and he was even getting on white people...

But these same ass Oprah Winfrey old blacks who came to him about it are the same Motherfukkers who supported all these black slaves, mammy roles in Hollywood..

There's some truth to this, in this book I read about black artists, the character Clayton Bigsby was based on Dave's grandfather who was so white passing you'd have to double take and he was actually blind.

Ironically he knew he was black, but the day after MLK got assinated he was on a bus and some black brehs thought he was white and thought to himself they were talking about someone else.

Dark Crusaders got to him....

Remember Katt Williams talking bout what happened to Dave being all Cryptic and shyt?

Obama: I'm gonna be honest with you Dave, we need your help.
Dave: Senator, I've been watching you on the news. I appreciate your message, and I'd like to help you. But I'm a filthy nightclub comedian, and I don't know what a person like me can do, to help a person like you.
Obama: Listen Dave...I need you to stay out of the public eye for a while. I need you to stop saying nikka on television so we can make things change.
