Hell
I know these nikkas gon ignore this statement. :mjpls:
Chapelle was just an actor, he didn't write most of the show. But to some of these fans chapelle was a genius :mjlol:

:francis:

yeah it's about 10x more harder for us than anyone else, socially and mentally defeated c00ns relying on a degree for survival and maintenance while those same people who gave you that degree don't see you as human:scust:

@11:30

Aries Spears says that he heard Dave was pressured by black Hollywood to stop portraying black people in a certain light, and that why he left..

Personally ..I never found the Chappelle show to be that funny... I mean the Puerto Rican Dude, Ashy Larry, and Charlie Murphy were all very funny to me but most of the shyt Dave said was pretty corny to me. I mean he was funny.. but not THAT funny..

Anyways why does Dave Chappelle get a pass on the "c00n" label from AA?

I heard Dave Chappelle said this, and i'm paraphrasing, "there was a point where i was making skits and the supporting crew members were laughing, and they were laughing too hard".

I took this to mean he felt people were no longer laughing at the nuanced portrayal of American society as it related to race and socioeconomic standing.

Plainly, they were laughing because they believed the skits to be a reflection of American culture removed from any of the factors that make it that way.

Also, i heard Dave say he was being given this 50 million deal and expected to churn out skits faster and with less control, and resources.

If u dont understand Satire u just need to stfu

SO if what all of your is saying is true..

"it was satire"

"it was an inside joke"

"Dave is a genius and all of his jokes fleeew over everybody's head"

Why didn't Black Hollywood see it this way? They're all just a bunch of idiots?

Why' Dave quit.. If he's such a genius that created this genius show to shyt on white people then what went wrong to make him run to Africa and not call nobody for 5 years?

Truth of the matter is Chappelle was a c00n to the 5th power and didn't realize it until he got his nikka wake up after his 2nd year call when he realized that they were laughing at him and not with him .. Not one person on here can justify calling any black person a c00n while at the same time leaving Chapelle off the list

He did, but he fell back and got his shyt straight. He turned down millions of dollars just to take a stand for his personal beliefs

:jbhmm:OK I gotta speak on both sides watch the lost episodes they never sat right with me especially the stereotype skit black people stereotypes was super bad and Hispanics but white peoples was very childish and not that big of a deal they even addressed it to the crowd and the majority of the black audience didn't sit right with it but the white crowd did and down played it but overall chapelle show was arguably one of the best comedy shows in the last ten years but i know for a fact Dave never really did it on purpose but saw how deregotary it was and ain't want no parts
