It was supposed to be called Chronic 2001, even one of the tracks on the album shouts out the name, he couldn't get the right to use Chronic in the title

2001 is still relevant sound/production wise. it set a precedent that still stands to this day sonically.

chronic while dope for its time is dated g-funk. best gangster rap album of all time. but outside of that its dated.

compton will be the same as 2001. the sound is even ahead of its time for these cornballs to appreciate right now.
