Did drafting poorly ruin the Golden State Warriors dynasty?

Drafting well is what got them championships. Curry was a lucky pick as dumbass wolves drafted two point guards before him lol.

Klay was outside top 10 and Draymond wasn't even 1st round and all three are hall of famers.

That Wiseman pick they fukked up majorly. Reminds me of Joe Dumars. fukked up a draft pick but still managed to win a championship, except no other championship came after that. Warriors look the same, their 2022 chip likely last on that team... Unless some miracles happen, which I doubt.

Lakers
They won 4 titles and went to 6 finals their run was bound to end. This isn’t the 80’s where you had the Lakers in the finals almost every year. Or the 60’s with the Celtics.

The wolves were stupid enough to try to trade the number 1 pick to them too all they had to do was give back the wolves pick. :russ:
They essentially turned down the 2020 first pick for kuminga/wiseman.

Everyone seems to have a fantasy that if GS drafted LaMelo or Haliburton they still would have become the guys they are now. There's just no chance they would have been allowed the same freedom and growth playing with Steph, Klay and Draymond. We have years of Kerr giving their young players an incredibly short leash while the core three get to do whatever they want. They would not have given the keys to any of those guards from the 2020 draft to grow into themselves.

Their issues have been far too much loyalty to Klay and Draymond (and wildly overpaying that bozo this past summer) and refusing to trade Kuminga and Moody when it's been clear that Kerr is not going to develop them or give them the runway needed for them to be significant contributors on this team.

Draymond's presence and the fallout from that Poole punch, where they basically backed Draymond and still refuse to hold him accountable for anything, makes GS hostile to bringing in other young players.

Wolves probably aren’t picking number one if they draft Melo

Am talking about the number 1 pick 2020 draft the 2021 pick was top 4 protected. they were definitely gonna be garbage in 2021 both dlo and kat were injured most of the season it didn't matter who they drafted.

They had no Klay for an entire season and a half
They would've been forced to play :russ:

Kerr doesn't play young guys cause the guys GS been drafting are not good players
It's not like they went to other teams and broke out these guys are wack AF

Life dont work that way

If that trade is made the domino effect causes every single thing in that nba season and thereafter to play out differently

If nothing else even the nba lottery the next yr plays out differently. Yall need to grow up and think critically

I can understand ppl saying they shoulda traded the pick for vers but who cares. They won a championship after which is a lot harder than yall nikkas think. They made the right decision off the simple fact they won a championship.
