Drake did not make anything cool or acceptable
Each year there are more people who listen to hip hop, these are people that have no interest in the art, they are just consumers playing track after track. Casuals, they treat is as pop music.
Ask somebody from goat farm mumbai or shoe factory hong kong whether they care how it all started, ask them if they care whether these rapper images are real or fake. They don't.

The whole attitude of "I don't care who wrote for (insert artist) as long as they didn't write (insert classic or favorite song by said artist)". That's one of the things that made it acceptable long before Drake. The other was "Don't worry if I write rhymes, I write checks"--- Diddy.
It will never be cool or acceptable to have ghostwriters in hip-hop.

Meek made it a big deal publicly after years of everyone from Sigel to LL to Mase to Snoop to Prodigy to Chuck D to Game using them.
The coli and similar sites are acting like Quentin Miller is the first case or the worst case but a vocal minority just singled out who they wanted to bytch about and ignored everything else.
People really don't want to know the full truth about many things because much of the magic and appeal would be gone.
