Burdens podcast has gone on a constant trajectory upwards ever since Marisa , who tbh was holding back the podcast, left the show. They added Mal who's been gold, and Ice who also provides a great dynamic to the show, and now you got a real roundtable of guys just debating, sharing stories, making jokes, and dropping knowledge and relatable/real shyt.

Budden's shyt would be the best if he wasn't so controlling. A lot of times he kills the natural conversation thats occurring and makes the podcast less interesting. He needs to sit back and let Mal and Ice shine more, Rory is a perfect straight man and Mal and Ice can go back and forth about anything, Budden needs to sit back and be a veteran and let the other guys shine more for the sake of the podcast.

Rosenberg is hopeless as a podcast host. unless he personally knows the guest (Oddisee) or has some kind of deep personal life moment connected to the music (like Tribe) he knows sweet fukk all about anyone. he knows little to nothing outside of early to mid 90s NY Hip Hop. not to mention their complete lack of enthusiasm when it comes to getting their shyt together and putting a decent episode out every week. they had PRIME position when they both worked at Hot 97, artists coming in & out of the building all day, professional facilities and they were the FIRST that i know of in that type of Hip Hop podcast doing interviews with legends. they've had their share of classic episodes but i think Noisemakers was a better platform for what they were/are trying to do but he couldn't keep that going either.DC just needs to cut down on the drinking and it would be better, you don't need to get plastered when doing an interview, do ONE shot of Tigerbone lol not 1 every 3 minutes
