I think in terms of sheer talent its Cam. Looked like a man amongst boys.

In terms of productivity its Burrow. Video game of numbers.

For one game I'd take Vince Young.

However, who could have had a blend of both Cam/Burrow.....would have been Kyler Murray.

Highest QBR ever in CFB.

He had an awful defense and faced Bama without Hollywood Brown for real.

He's the one that will be forgotten in these debates.

He was definitely better than Baker, but I dont think he'll get his just due in part to OU's Lincoln run happening during a declining B12. Now if Kyler was doing this in early 2010s B12, outscoring prime OKSt, Baylor, WVU, TCU, whoever, he'd deserve all of his flowers

Nah Kyler did it on a conference that plays no defense at all. Tua should have won the heisman that year if we wanna keep it real
Not really.
OU had the worst defense in that league (or close to it). Say what you will but Texas dominated Georgia. He shredded them twice.

Every possession Kyler had the pressure of having to score. A couple of games he wouldnt see the ball for long stretches of time.

He put up over 400+ yards on Bama....without his best WR basically.

So Kyler, Cam and Barry Sanders have emerged as challengers.

Burrow had 16TD and 1int against defensive rank 1,3,7,13,17 :wow:

21 defensive players who were opponents went top 100 in the 2020 draft

burrow played with 3 wide receivers drafted in the first 2 rds, a first rd RB, and a few of his lineman were drafted as well

great season that was propelled by the talent around him

I love how y’all discount him cuz of the talent he played with but overlooked the degree of difficulty of what he played against.

Burrow had a great season but having Chase & Jefferson made a WORLD of diff for him

and I'm not sure if LSU would've beat healthy Bama in Tuscaloosa
