I don't know about you all, but I never expected this out of Burrow 2 seasons at Ohio State as a backup to J.T. Barrett, Then he realized Dwayne Haskins would get the starting job over him and transferred. I don't think he was on anyone's radar.

But did Joe Burrow Have the greatest Single Season in College Football History?

I've never seen a single season like Burrows and I can't even say i'm a fan yet, because I haven't seen him do what he did consistently yet.

No argument there. It definitely would have been more impressive,
but we still can't take the run away.

I think it's because before this he was thought of as a backup at best and he wasn't getting anytime to play anywhere else. So the time at which we got to witness his play was relatively short.

What about Clemson with healthy Trevor Lawrence? Y'know.. the reigning national champ who BEAT Tua when he was healthy and was looked at as the best QB prospect in over a decade before Burrow made him look ordinary... And the other slew of top ranked teams him and LSU stomped to just reach Clemson in the title game while going undefeated throughout the whole season. What juggernauts did Cam and Tebow beat in their best seasons while putting up worse numbers than Burrow in the process??

The answer to the thread is a resounding "duh" and anyone claiming otherwise is a hater.

By modern standards he did but I like to think it was because he led his team to a title and he’s about to be the goat for my bengals...

but before that I always thought it was Barry Sanders because it was him who did that. Burrow has at least 5 other players on offense in this draft alone and some other first rounders.
