Lupe still hasn't even topped most of the tracks off The Cool yet imo. A track like gotta eat is so damn brilliant and it's truly what the peole need. This guy was really on his street poet swag, a true professor with The Cool. He takes simple concepts that many usually don't acknowledge or oblivious to.and makesit accessible listen while trying to teach you something at the same time.


The double entendres, the overall analogy between the fast food industry and the drug dealing industry. The lyricism is on point with this one.

His newest project is okay but this is just piff. Lasers and FNL2 is w/e also. The last track I heard from him even remotely close to this was double burger with cheese.

Not saying it's an L or anything. I just expected him to get better after this. He's still great but this is best rapper alive great imo. Dude just on a different level here

the \ important people from chicago are still doing it ..... common,chance,kanye,etc....chief keef even.

wouldnt say "fell off". . .more he slipped and rolled his ankle and now he is currently a little slower due to his lack of crutches
