Have a low end, mid range, and flagship tier.

Gotta get more apps. That's most important.

Rename Lumia to Surface Phone.

Honestly though everything Microsoft works great on Android so if they fail they can always just keep developing there.

1.) This thread is about phones. But since it's Microsoft the Sony hate is running the conversation. Mostly fanboys, and none of you own a Windows phone. Buy talk like you know how good it is. This behavior on this site is why this site struggles. Here is what the article said. Kind of contradicts the actual topic in this thread :francis:

Nadella has new plans for Lumia, and they involve flagships, low-cost devices, and business phones, but beyond that, the future of Windows Phone is very vague.
So phones ARE in the plans still. The lumia 640 just dropped, the 640XL is about to land. The flagship phone's are excellent, and Windows 10 makes all apps from PC compatible on Xbox or cell. The article and you guys just seem to be oblivious to all of that. Have fun with your Android. Cortana :win:[/quote]

black love, unity, and music
Not sure why your laughing. I made 14K on my Nokia stock when MS bought them out, meanwhile you continue to stan companies that you gain ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING from, so whose really the loser here?

That being said, i still firmly believe the Windows phone is better than Android.

Hi sony guy, tell me. What windows phone did you have
He self, you already know the nikka lying. Sad shyt that people like this all over the internet, the world
Its hard to sell a device when there are so many people who never wanted it to make it because of fanboyism

http://www.expansys-usa.com/microso...amY-43u5hQ.Zm.nTD2znuw_A4Q&ito=LKSlw9MynSeamY

TO those who are not so broke they have to stan... Windows Lumia 640XL for $200 free shipping
5.7in screen (iPhone 6+ size)
13mp camera (better than the comp)
5mp front facing cam
100gb storage via OneDrive (which is built into the phone)
Windows 8.1/Cortana built in, upgrades to Windows 10 in a few weeks. Every windows PC app will be cross compatible so the app talk is now not an issue. But it wasn't ever an issue. If they didn't have something, they had a 3rd party version that would often work BETTER than the 1st party. Most of you know about the Microsoft Youtube app, but its not as well known how there was apps made for every major app by somebody that would be just as good.

Well now you don't have to find out on your own ladies n gentleman. Windows 10 gives you the 1st party versions
No more excuses, just like how XB1 gets hate. So does anything else Microsoft. Be a vicious hater brehs :yeshrug:

so here is the deal since so much misinformation is out there and crazy fanboy rhetoric is taking over the conversation.

#1 - Nokia knew exactly what they were doing to Microsoft when they basically forced that buyout. The Lumia line had about a 90% market share in Windows phones and Microsoft had no choice but to buy them out because of the risk of another company like Google or Sony coming in to buy the patent portfolio and then potentially pull the support on 90% of Windows phones on the market and the only relevant line in the WP world. It would have been irresponsible for Microsoft NOT to buy Nokia.

#2 WP is dead, it's been renamed and I would assume that Microsoft will eventually make the Lumia line the surface phone line.

#3 Windows Phone has been great for me. I still use it and like it more than IOS and android.

WP is dead :usure:
They JUST STARTED windows phone. And yes, misinformation does get thrown around. Even by the mods who like the phone. Just two months ago they let the world know their plans. Its now called Windows 10 mobile

http://www.cnet.com/news/microsoft-drops-windows-phone-in-favor-of-windows-10-mobile/

Just like how apple has its iPhone/iMac ecosystem. Windows 10 will be Microsofts version of that same ecosystem
But they have a game console and more PC's in the wild, so they bought Nokia to make something of the phone angle
Otherwise, there would be no need to buy Nokia. They could just make windows compatible on androids (which does exist)

Windows 10 is Microsofts first attempt at a unified ecosystem, have fun talking like something is dead when you yourself know how great it is. As you have stated. Xbox wins again :win:

There are a lot of reporters blowing this out of proportion. A lot of them have asked for MS to slim down their offerings and when they did just that those same people start predicting doom and shyt.

It's weird that Microsoft is the underdog in this situation but I'm kind of pulling for them because WP isn't a bad platform and would be better with decent and officially supported apps. If they deliver on their universal app promise this could look up from there.

Lots of people have opinions on this, but this is whats happening bruh bruh
WIndows came out with Windows 7 on phones and the shyt was not good
It got better, but wasn't upgradable like it needed to be (like early iPhones)
Now they got windows 8 phones which are excellent devices. Even the lowest tiered phone is decent
In fact, the lowest tiered phones can do everything a person would need, and the apps people claim windows doesn't have? They do have them, just in 3rd party versions that work just fiine. But the world isn't speaking on that because most people don't have a windows phone to know this stuff.
Microsoft thought people would wise up, they didn't. So they decided to dumb it down for everyone else
Now you'll see the apps you love by their real name, and you will in a lot of cases have less accessibility than you would with the 3rd party version :snoop:

Windows 10 on cell, well, the reviews say they are :blessed: I can only speak on Windows 8.1 which is :banderas: as is
So the future is about to get REAL. They have the best cameras, don't need a ton of hefty specs to run shyt. And while people love to talk about what windows phone doesn't officially have, nobody seems to be talking about all the exclusive features that can only bee found on Windows 10. Its a pretty big deal ladies and gentleman :francis:

Actual 2+ year windows phone owner here. I have a love hate relationship with my Lumia....the functionality is fantastic but the lack of apps is laughable...makes you hate everything about the phone despite it being a pretty good device
What apps are you not able to use out of curiosity :patrice:
