Their phone UI isn't that bad. Back in the day I'd download the WP UI theme from the playstore because it so was easy and straight to the point

But the phone itself looked cheap as hell.

You get more information on 1 screen instead of having to scroll through multiple pages full of shortcuts. You guys wouldn't know because you a looking at this from a narrow point of view. You can get a low end Lumia for $50 and it will be much easier to understand. Infinitely scrolling up and down > Swiping side to side to access more pointless BS on your other screens.

Live Tile > App Shortcut and it's not even close. Widgets are nice too, but I still prefer live tiles as it can be resized how I want it and still give me the information flashing on the screen.

The People Hub on WP is much better than on android and iOS.

Windows Mobile is smooth as fukk on old hardware too. iOS 8 on the iPhone 4S is slow as shyt, yet WP 8.1 on the Lumia 520 performs flawlessly.

If you are a heavy app user then the lack of some social networking apps will hurt, but almost everything else is covered. I am glad I made the switch a while ago, I got bored with Android and iOS.

Their phones are really easy to use. I always thought they should have marketed them at less tech savvy people first.

What does any of what you just said have to correlate with the fact that the FIRST THING YOU SEE from the phone looks cheap

1.) There are many models of windows phone, just like there are many models of androids. So generalizing statements like "the phone looks cheap" is well... what should I say here? I can go in any direction with this. You know what, I'll let realize how... misleading a comment like that is. It makes intelligent people think you never really used a windows phone. You just seen a Lumia 435 @ target & called it a day

2.) How a phone looks is irrelevant IF you use a case. Lots of peoples phones look like whatever design the Otterbox at the store looked like. If you wanna protect your investment, a case is a must. So only the foolish put THAT much into the looks. Especially when you are putting that OVER functionality. The knock on windows phones in the past was the smaller amounts of ram the phones typically have. Andriods is the ram kings, but windows and apple phones run smoother with less ram. They are in the PC business, these phones are computers. Are you seeing a connection here laddy

There are probably more cheap models of androids than there are models of Windows Phones put together. Thats not the point of this thread tho. This thread is informing YOU that even the lowest model of windows phone can shyt on some of the best models of phones on android/iPhone because of Windows 10
