Yeah..except it made money and Gunn was proven to be inferior. Rock got higher ratings than the WWE title program and had to be put right back in it Sept 99 since they didn't want the tag champion out ranking the main event players every week.

Did it? If it made so much money then why did they only have one PPV match together? I always thought it was weird that they tried to make Billy Gunn a main eventer anyway because it was blatantly obvious to anyone that he wasn't one. Giving him the KOTR and then launching him into a verbal feud with probably the best audience promo guy in the history of wrestling was never gonna end well
