You've obviously never watched randy play :beli:

I remember him mooning the GB fans. I remember Cris Carter telling him he's the man when the commentators thought he was berating him. I also remember his half assed blocking during Bears games. I've seen plenty to say he's the most naturally gifted receiver I ever saw, so fluid, fast, long, etc. The motherf*cker did not overachieve, I'm sorry if he's your hero, that's the truth. He relied on mostly his athletic ability :manny: He's not a Jerry Rice, he's not a TO, he's not even Tim Brown, he was never known for his routes breh, deal with it.

Nope. But Moss wouldn't have done sh*t anyway, he's a speed guy. You'd have to be a Jerry Rice type route runner to do anything to Prime. I can't remember somebody else who shut down half the field at will, sh*t was really crazy at times :wow: Like the one time a QB would test Prime it would be a Pick Six, and then he wouldn't get it thrown to his side for 3-4 games :heh:
yeah ok, u must not know about Revis Island. Plus new school nigggas like Calvin Johnson would abuse Prime time. Prime to lil for him or AJ green even. Them nigggas would have sex with Dee yawn saunders

I think Deion played that Thanksgiving game but he was battling that turf toe for like 2 years it seemed. :patrice:

Moss definitely didn't have that work ethic but he's still 2 or 3, depending on who you ask on the WR list.

I remember Montana and Rice giving young Prime that work though when they both played in the NFC West. :banderas:

moss coulda easily grabbed a bomb jump ball over prime. maybe he wouldnt have had all that many catches in a game but it wouldnt have shocked me at all to see him get a couple for long yardage and/or a td

Monday night's game features the Cowboys against the Minnesota Vikings at the Metrodome. But the featured attraction is Sanders vs. Moss. Two elite athletes, pitting their game-breaking skills for the first time for the enjoyment of a national television audience.

Moss, at the age of 22, has more to prove.

Sanders definitely has more to lose.

"I'm sure Randy is dodging that just like I am," Sanders said. "You can't get into the one-on-ones, man, you really can't."...

(Continued)

Teams normally avoid his side of the field. Indianapolis didn't. Colts quarterback Peyton Manning threw six passes in Sanders' direction.

He completed four for a total of 84 yards. Sanders was also hit with penalties of five and 15 yards. He allowed receiver Harvin Marrison to blow past him for a 40-yard touchdown reception to open the final period and a lead the Colts wouldn't relinquish.

"I locked in on the play-action," Sanders said. "I wasn't in bump-and-run.

"He flat out beat me. I was tricked. I was fooled. But don't make things bigger than they were."

By the time Moss came along Deion was in his 30's and battling the turf toe issues. Woulda been nice to see them battle it out in their primes though. Deion woulda been there with him stride for stride but the question is could he have stopped those jump balls?

Can we stop with this narrative that Moss didn't work hard. You don't do what he did at that level for as long as he did it without working hard. Also an underrated part of Moss' game was his intelligence and understanding of the game. Every coach of his has marvelled at his mind. You see that Chad (a pretty nice reciever in his own right) struggled to grasp NE's playbook and Moss picked that shyt up pretty much immediately.
