Lakers will pick him up at a great discount and they plenty of max money to go after gosal or Lamarcus

Milwaukee and sacramento. now I hated the dallas trade when it happened. jameer was a great fit for that team. he could handle and play off the ball. while monta could do both as well. rondo cant play off the ball. you have to give him the ball and let him run the offense .shoot, rondo can get you ten boards and 15 assists.

Bucks already have a cheaper, younger version of Rondo in MCW

Kidd & Rondo together would be a fukking disaster too :mjlol:

Kings ... I guess :yeshrug:

I know its fun to just hate Rondo, but look at his playoff track record. He lives for the big stage and has always had his best performances when the proverbial lights are on. To play like that, for all of 10 minutes, shows you how far gone he is in Dallas. Forget the big three, he was killing the Heat in 2012. That overtime game, I think it was like Game 2 where he scored all 12 of Boston's points in overtime, had a line of like 44/10/8 and played every second of a 53-minute game. It's crazy to watch that game last night and think its the same player.

So you agree that he quit on his team?

I cant even think of a good fit for Rondo anymore ... like go look at a list of teams, and there doesnt seem to be 1 good fit in the entire league

He'd kill it in Sacramento and he could dominate and stat pad, nikka is too much of a diva tho now so I don't think I'd even want him there tbh

Misusing him how? How should Carlisle use a ball dominant guard that can't shoot?

EVERY SINGLE BOSTON TEAM THAT THIS MORON SAID RONDO LED WAS AN AWFUL OFFENSIVE TEAM!

Rondo is an empty stat-stuffer and is among one of the worst players in the league to build around. One of the best coaches in the league CAN'T MAKE use of Rondo and realizes he's an offensive cancer.

The same coach who turned Monta Ellis into a beast and went play for play with Poppovich.
Those Boston squads had good offenses I dont give a fukk what a stat says. Rondo led those boys and got everyone their touches in their desired spots. I mean you're talking about Pierce, KG, Allen...
3 players with vastly different games. RONDO made a system out of that good enough to win a ring and contend for years.

Never was a Rondo fan, but Rick Carlisle isn't handling this situation well either.

Couldn't integrate him...at all...with half a season, and has let this be a huge distraction in the locker room.

As a sidenote, with all the metrics that the Mavericks use, how did they think bringing Rondo in would be a good idea? It really blew up in their face like an experiment gone wrong.

Seriously, it's like these Coli analysts never watched the Celtics. These dudes look at stat lines and judge players without paying attention to the intricacies of each player's game. And these idiots are worse because even if they looked at stat lines alone, they would see that Rondo's impact on the Celtics was significant. Rondo's resume speaks for itself. Yet, these guys LOVE to discredit Rondo by saying that he played with 3 future HOFers. But they don't understand that after 2010, HE was leading them, especially during the playoffs. Unfortunately, for some Coli dudes, reality is optional and doesn't fit their anti-Rondo narrative. You don't become a 4x all-star, all-NBA player, and a nightly triple double threat by simply riding the coattails of great players.....just ask Mario Chalmers and Derek Fisher.

Teams he could thrive in:
Kings
LA Lakers
Hornets
Pelicans
Rockets
Heat
Knicks

But where he's likely to go is another story altogether.
