If this was Popovich, he would have benched him for Jose Barea already

If this was Pop, he would have him calling plays and fearing fukking up, rather then calling all his plays and giving him 14 seconds on the clock to execute it... :yeshrug:

But some loyal Celtics fans still think he's a max worthy play. I believe it was @Supercoolmayo that said theyd max him

Mavs offense was one of the best in the league before Rondo. Why would they change it for him?

If you put a ball-dominant PG in a system that is built around Dirk, obviously the PG (and the team) will suffer for it. It's similarly to how an NFL QB needs to play in a system tailored to his skill-set in order to succeed with a particular team. Carlisle didn't tailor/tweak the offense for Rondo and wouldn't let him call the plays. So of course Rondo (and the team) suffered for it.

You're a dumbass.

Get the Rockets off this list. Ain't NO fukkING WAY HE IS PLAYING FOR THE ROCKETS!

You can't read, can you? :francis:

I said the aforementioned teams were teams IN WHICH HE COULD THRIVE based on their personnel.

I also noted that whether he ends up at any one of those teams is a different story altogether.

Rondo didn't quit, he was never given a fair shake by Carlisle...

It's funny how the media is blaming all of Dallas problems on Rondo...

Rondo wasn't on their team last year...didn't they go out in the 1st round?

Rondo wasn't on their team the year before that...did they even make the playoffs?

Nobody talking about how Parsons knee injury is serious one minute, not serious the next minute...seems to only be serious when he has to play against houston...

Nobody talking about Dirk's atrocious defense...he is literally playing the worst defense I have ever seen anybody play in professional basketball in my life...he is playing 10 times worse than James Harden played last year...San Antonio dusted Dallas off last year by just running a simple pick and roll with manu and splitter and dirk was to fukking sorry, slow, and stupid to understand how to properly defend it...Houston is dusting Dallas off by just running a pick and roll with Josh Smith and Dwight Howard and Dirk is to sorry, slow, and stupid to understand the simple concept of "make Osh Smith shoot the ball"...

Nobody talking about how Cuban has just built a horrible team...pairing a point guard who can't shoot with a big who can't defend and then having at least 1 of them on the floor for around 40 out of 48 minutes...trading for Tyson Chandler and bringing along some of the players he was trying to get away from when he was in New York...

Nobody talking about how Monta can't wait to get out of there because every time he has a bad game the dallas media never stops talking about it and every time Parsons has a bad game they never start talking about it...

The team is not very good...Cuban has been laughably bad at building this team post championship...Dirk is rapidly turning into the worst defender of all time...

Rondo wasn't even on the floor when Smith and Howard unleashed alley-oopmegeddon on Dirks head...

The fact that Smith and Howard are outsmarting Dirk tells you all you need to know about this series and this team...

Going right back to the 30 wins a year days when Chandler, Monta, and Rondo leaves...

Watch Cuban dumbass trade whatever draft picks he has for Roy Hibbert the first chance he gets...

:mjpls:Bench Rondo for playing poorly but leave Dirk on the floor to get NBA Jam tournament editioned on huh :mjpls:

Nobody bringing up Dirk shooting under 40% AGAIN in a playoff game huh :mjpls:

You got a coach who won a title calling all the plays and you got a point guard who won a title calling all his own shots on the floor...how else was this ever going to end:yeah ok:

How is disrupting Harden, 4 points on 50% shooting, and an assist, in under 10 minutes "playing poorly" and bench-worthy? Rondo and Aminu were the only ones who showed up in the game.

I can read doesn't mean I read the whole post. But still Rondo wouldn't thrive on the Rockets who rely heavily on the 3pt shot. Why do you think Morey didn't trade for Rondo in the offseason and earlier in the season before the Mavs? Plus for Rondo to be most effective he needs the ball in his hands much like the leader of the Rockets James Harden.

It would not be a good fit and as I've mentioned alot I'm glad the Rockets didn't trade for Rondo.
