He could've been undisputed #2 greatest player ever.Shaq already top 3 GOAT
a lean agile shaq had the opportunity to put up at least 10 32-35 PPG 10RPG seasons
Thats what makes Kobe a GOAT and Shaq just another dude
I loved him as a kid but I realized as I grew old this guy never gave it his ALLbeing a bum is relative
Shaq could have won more rings if he was willing to take pay cuts like Duncan.
But as Shaq said his ultimate goal was to be a great player and to maximize his financial earnings period.
Look at his yearly salary after the age of 29. Shaq was getting paid unbelievable amounts of money and he refused to take a pay cut except that one point in Miami to get some help. Even then he was like I ain't making less than 20 mill.
Shaq was a hired gun plan and simple and he was gonna get paid no matter what.
This a brotha who contract wise almost made 300 mill just on NBA salary alone.
Shaq ain't perfect but he has always been a business man first and a basketball player second.
Statistically, of course. He readily admits to using the regular season to play himself into shape, taking plays off, silly little "injuries" etc. But for those who say he left multiple titles on the table, which ones do y'all think he should've won aside from 04?
Did Randy Moss underachieve? Your answer better be the same...
