WW's idea of a bad boy is "The Summer I Turned Pretty" :dead: or Travis Kelce.

Black women have to do better. Should I ever have a daughter, and she brings a NBA Youngboy clone around, she's going to boarding school.

Facts. And the worst part is there are brehettes who literally followed the thinking behind the song in prioritizing men in ‘04 and fast forward to 2025 and they’re in their 40s and sitting by with their mouths shut watching their daughters make the same exact mistakes.

Think a song that came out in 2004 is a headliner for issues as old as time, brehs. It's not the music it's the underlying issues. But music makes for one easy scapegoat.

Actually the summer I turned pretty is for asian women who love white men. That's asian women's view of bad boys, not really white women.

The black community was starting to go back 20 years prior in the mid 80s..

Those black women in the hood at that time minds started to shift from the hard working young brother who getting his little checks trying to move up in life to the Dope Boys who had the Beamers and Benzs , getting quick cash and had the latest clothes….. the girls/young women saw that and that was it and then u add in the early 90s Oprah pumpin that white feminist bullshyt of you don’t need a man, get your education, get your shyt and then at 30 plus look for a husband

Even Iyanla vansant was on that to because they showed a video of her in 91 saying that same shyt and it took her 30 years to say she was wrong..
